This is only test, as we lack enough cerebellum (a latin word which means "little brain") to figure out who the actors were that put on this play of long ago.We do know for sure, but this play probably occurred in the old Juab High School in the 1930's or 40's. We don't have the exact year, but Google maintains the author published the small program in a book-like container, and she became a wealthy lady writing in 1936 and it was a hit throughout America, often being acted as the Senior Play. One would have to write to the publishing company and pay a dime for each book for each of the actors, and nobody could make profit for putting on the play except for Ms. Anne Coulter Maretens. The Nephi Jones kids were very much aware that our mother was heavily involved with school, church and community activities of which plays and skits were her cup of tea. The writing the names of the character's appear to be that of Alma Jones, who would eventually get hitched to LaVon Harris, as soon as Alma returned from the US Army during the Era of W.W. Two.
The hand writing appears to be that of Alma Jones, as two of his kids recognize his signature. The second one appears to be Barbara Winters who married Ron Jones; them Glade Sanders; Ethel Lee; unknown; Ellen Garrett; Mrs. McPherson and the last name appears to be that of Mrs. Stuart, which could be Carol Stuart; wife of Russell Stuart or the one that married Kay Stuart. Have fun, and see if you; Grandkids, etc. others, and the winner gets one no-payday and have a choice of hand shearing a real Sheep.
