The Classic Car Show is set to open at 10:00 AM on July 14th during the Ute Stampede.

As nearly as I recall, the first vehicle of Weston Jones of Nephi was a Ford pick up truck from the late 1930's or 40's. It was truly a classic, as it required a Fix Or Repair Daily on it, but cousin Mont Jones was always around to get it going again. Wes would give students a free ride to Juab High, but you had to ride in the back. That wasn't fun as Wes and his buddies used the truck to round up skunks in Juab Valley and then deliver them to unsuspecting people in the community. He even advertised it by spray painting "Skunk Removers" on the side of the door panel. As his little brother, I got tired of having to respond to the interrogations from Nephi Police Officer Howard Brown when a skunk was found in a business or car around town. Weston has now risen above that stench and got hooked on convertibles with his first one being a 1959 Chevy Impala. He is going to take one of these beauties and put it in the Nephi City Park for the Car Show next Sat., July 14th during the Ute Stampede, so come see all the mobile transporters on display.
