HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR ALMA COYN JONES
Yup, it was this day-March 10, 1903 that Alma Jones was born. That was in Nortonville, Utah, which is a few heaps and hollers north of Nephi. His father was Wm. Jones, and his mother Elizabeth Tolley Jones. Each of the attached photos show different stages of his life. Needless to say, his perfect single life was modified to a more perfect married life when at the age of forty, he married LaVon Harris, and they both settled down for a happy life together, as were the five kids that were born to our Pa.
. His kids are Weston, Hal, Kent, Gary and Jaynette. Happy Birthday Dad.

ReplyDeleteWe are in fact related. I recall my father-Alma Jones talk of his relatives in Wells. He had said they knew farming well, and went out there to do farm and ranching because of the great soil there.
