If you go to a Juab County "female only" party, we call it Relief Society; Bachelorette party or Bunko. So what did they call the wild women club in the 1940's!

I call it the "weird hat" club, but not sure of the real name. In the first photo, I recognize Pearl Nielson; Gladys Brown, LaVon Jones, Rheta Sperry and Marion Memmott.  It is uncertain where they gathered for that photo, but it could have been that religious building just north of where the old Nephi North Ward building was. If you wish to join the club, I have provided phone numbers of the certified members. Just pick up the phone and when the operator responds, give the number, but be careful, as it was a "party" line. Perhaps back then, that is why they called it a party line.
