This is a couple pages of an LDS missionary diary from 1895, and a photo of somebody he sent to Nephi.

In 1895, Juab County resident Wm. Jones served at LDS mission to the British Isles where his ancestors came from to help settle Nephi.  From time to time, I hope to include pages that have some connection to photos I have from that era, and found one today. We are not sure who the photo of the young girl is, but feel assured it is somebody from the Manchester area where Wm. was, as they were both living in Oldham, which is an off shoot of Manchester, England. In the second page of this entry, he indicated he was sending photos along with the letter to his wife(Lizzie) of Nortonville. It also appears he sent a letter to John McPherson of Nephi. The first page shows he paid a six pence for dinner, and sent one of his missionary pictures to "Aunt Fitzgerald at Manchester".
